Shelburne Street Festival 2016, Best EVER!!!

Shelburne saw one of the best organized, most highly attended and successful Shelburne Street Festivals in recorded history. In addition to the wonderful weather, over 100 vendors participated in the Open Market, over 240 cars attended the Classic Car Show hosted by Oatmans, and the streets were brimming with entertainment and events for all ages.
"The 2016 Shelburne Street Festival was a huge success. I would say we had approximately 2500 people in our down town core filling the streets with excitement, traveling through the open air market, viewing all the cars and taking  a peak at the motorcycle's or just stopping at our main stage to watch the performances. While on the side streets we had the Jr. Schooners soap box derby where kids competed for the fastest time. The town hosted the annual bed races where a team of participants also competed for the fastest time. Thanks to everyone that helped out, and all the volunteers that spent over 12 hours that day making the Shelburne Street Festival a success,"  commented Councillor, Dan Sample.

The Shelburne Street Festival Committee is run by volunteers. General committee members are Volunteer Event Co-ordinator, Jamie-Lee Higgins of Prim Pickins, Mayor Ken Bennington, Town Councillor, Dan Sample, Melissa Powers of Tattoo Addiction, Kevin Bowler of Money Workz, Virginia Miller of Infinite Play, Melissa Powers, Kyle Fegan of Impact Kreative, Lindsay Baker, Lindsay Wagner of Marketing Momma's and Spaw Perfect, Jim and Josh Oatman of Oatman's, and many more.  What a wonderful job these volunteers did for their community. Now we wait with baited breath for next year!
